DIY Tables for Every Room in your Home

It’s no secret, I love to build my own furniture for my house.  I love that you can customize it to fit perfectly in your space.  You can also get the exact look that you want for a fraction of the retail price!  One thing that I’ve really come to appreciate is that when my kids are rough or color on my DIY furniture, I don’t feel quite as bad because it didn’t cost very much to build! 🙂  There are so many DIY furniture ideas and plans out there, lets narrow it down and check out a few of my favorite DIY tables for every room in your home.

DIY Kitchen Tables

For those budding artists, I love this farmhouse style kid’s craft table with hidden shelves.  The adorable free plans are from Jen Woodhouse.

This kid’s Lego storage table with a sliding top is a very simple build.  It is built from scrap wood, but has provided hours and hours of creative fun and has been excellent at containing the Legos!  Free plans on Hertoolbelt.

Deck/Patio Tables

Decks and patios can be an extension of your home, and fabulous for entertaining.  This huge patio table with umbrella would be awesome for an outdoor dinner party or family get together.  Tutorial on That’s My Letter

We can’t leave out my favorite room in the house.  Fabulous workshop assembly table by Sawdust 2 Stitches, you’ll be amazed at what she upcycled to make it!
