I got one of these Ryobi High Volume Power Inflators earlier this summer and it gets used all of the time. At first I thought I would only use it to blow up the kiddie pool and take it on the occasional camping trip, but it’s a handy little tool to have around. The Ryobi inflators runs about $20-$25 and is sold as the tool only. It will run on any Ryobi battery (old or new), but if you don’t have any other Ryobi batteries, then you’ll want to pick one up.

Farmhouse Coffee Table with Hidden Storage
This month’s theme on Ryobi Nation is Hidden Gems and I have just the project in mind. I’ve been wanting to update my coffee table to the farmhouse style, but I need some hidden storage for remotes, art supplies and homework papers. The coffee table seems to be my kids’ focal point for playing and activities.

This farmhouse style coffee table is really easy to build. You’ll need:
- 6 – 1″ x 6″ x 8′ boards
- 1 – 4″ x 4″ x 8′ post
- 1 – 1″ x 2″ x 8′ board
- 2 – full overlay frameless euro hinges
- 1 1/4″ pocket hole screws
- 1 1/4″ brad nails
- wood glue
- sandpaper
- paint/stain (I used the same weathered wood technique that I used on my farmhouse frames that you can see here.)
- The supplies for this table cost me about $60. (I had the paint, stain, wood glue, sandpaper on hand already.)
I used Euro hinges for the top lid. You can choose the soft close option if you’re worried about little fingers!
I teamed up with Ryobi Nation this month, and the tutorial and plans are available for free over on Ryobi Nation <– click for plans
Want to get that nice weathered wood finish on new pine?
See how I did that:
Thanks for pinning!

If you caught my DIY Easy Farmhouse Style Picture Frame that fits an 11×14 photo print, this is the plan for an 8×10. These farmhouse style picture frames are simple to make. My favorite feature is how easy it is to switch out your prints, they just slide out! They can be made to fit protective glass/plastic or just the print.

The cheapskate in me sure does love a good deal and even better FREE!!! My Dad has been doing a number of improvement projects at his farm and the new equipment comes on pallets. Some of the pallets are too good to let go to waste. A lot of them are the hardwood pallets (like oak), nut just pine. This one has cool wide planks!
I’ve been wanting to put a porch table out by the front door for holiday decorations, and these free pallets are priced just right.
